Feb 2012 already

I can’t believe that 2012 is already here, and we’re in Feb, FEB already, how crazy is that. I was just looking at the last time I blogged about something and it’s been over a year which is completely freaking me out because I was sure I only posted a few months ago.

Anyway… Since my last post I have now got a motorbike, a cool Suzuki SV650 off Ebay during some Christmas shopping, by all accounts it was a great bargain. I’ve been out a few times in it before the cold set in and it’s a sweet ride, can’t wait for better weather to do something more than ride around the block.

On the web front it’s been absolutely manic, Sizzle has been delivering sites none stop and it finally seem like we’ve turned a corner, but just when we thought it was safe to take a breather, we get slapped by Google and our one envious position of being number one of on Google for Web Design Manchester vanished overnight to a lowly bottom of page two. I can now tell you first hand that there is a big difference in being numero uno and getting regular enquiries, to being numero nowhere and getting none so SEO does work when it’s working, but when it drops it can be a problem.

We are now doing all we can to regain our rankings and writing, blogging, posting, re-writing content and even gone so far as rebuilding our website. It’s gone unchanged for a few years and at this stage we have nothing to lose.
