I have just discovered what I consider, quite probably the worlds most beautiful car. The Singer Porsche 911, the ultimate retro cool orange ve-hi-cle.

Based over in the US, Singer Design is a brand new company that takes your old 911, strips out all the scary stuff and lovingly restores the classic body giving you depth of character and design sexiness straight from the 60’s, and then load it choc full of modern road warfare technology.

The Singer 911 draws from the best of each decade of Porsche engineering, the “race-bred style” of the 70s, the rock solid reliability of the 80s,  the “engineering” of the 90s, and comes up trumps with this unique and very retro “Orange” beauty of a car.

The paint job looks wicked and is complimented by powder coated Porsche’s trademark Fuchs wheels and twin exhausts. Under the Orange paintwork, carbon fibre replaces the steel body panels. The interior is pure race car and is fitted with deep Recaro seats, a Porsche racing three-spoke steering wheel, and Tag Heuer gauges. This 911 truly is a driver’s dream car and the Singer will tangle with any GT3 thanks to its bespoke tuning, taking the 3.82 litre boxer-six to 425bhp, firing it down the tarmac to hit 60mph in around 3.9 seconds.

There have been no prices listed for this conversion yet, only that you must provide the donor car, get it over to the US, spend lots of money and get back something you can sit and gorge your eyes on until the summer comes around, then you can go around looking for an RS6 to tease.

So somebody out there, please commission a £200,000 website from me so I can own one these orange bullets.
